Get your eyes up

Surviving the everyday is a triumph, and for most of us it feels like it is all we can do. But God wants more for us as parents. He wants to give us joy in it, to see something wonderful.
We conquer each day minute by minute. Days can go so slowly, but weeks fly by so fast, and we can feel like in the rush, we are missing out on the point of our parenting – of growing kids who are loved by God and have purpose on earth and a future. And there’s joy in helping them find connection with God and grow the character that will help them flourish. We lift our eyes from the mess of our day to days to the God who loves our children wholeheartedly.
