Whether you’re in church leadership, children’s, youth or family ministry, or a parent or carer yourself, this session will help you rethink discipleship — not as another programme, but as something woven into everyday life.
Join us on Thursday 4th June, 12-1pm (perfect timing for a lunch break!) to discover how the Parenting for Faith approach could transform your family and church, equipping church leaders, ministry workers, and parents & carers to nurture lifelong discipleship in kids and teens.

Grandparenting Webinar
Also on Thursday 4th June 10am to 11.30am, Becky Sedgwick is leading a webinar with Sarah Holmes on the role of Grandparents, hosted by Hope Together and Talking Toddlers.
Join us to explore the impact of faith across generations and particularly how the grandparent generation can impact younger ones.

September 2026:
Five Key Tools – New Course!
Discover the five key tools of Parenting for Faith in this brand new interactive course!
It’s suitable for people with children or teenagers of all ages in their lives. It’ll help people get to grips with each tool and how to use and apply it, in whatever context they are in.
The course will start on Monday 21st September 2026 (7-8.30pm) and will run for 5 weeks.
October 2026:
National Grandparenting Conference
Join us in Milton Keynes on Saturday 3rd October, for the National Conference for Christian Grandparents.
Becky Sedgwick will be speaking, alongside other ministries such as Children Can, Hand in Hand, and Scripture Union.
Whatever your circumstances, God has positioned you to be a unique voice speaking into your grandchildren’s lives, helping to nurture them into the reality of a relationship with the God who loves them.
Parenting as a Church Leader Day
On Thursday 15th October 2026 we will be running the Parenting as a Church Leader Course, facilitated by the Parenting for Faith team, on Zoom.
This 1-day course will unpack how to help your family thrive, as you juggle the responsibilities of leadership alongside parenting.
The course is a mixture of:
- Video teaching from Rachel Turner (author of Parenting as a Church Leader),
- Content and discussions led by a Parenting for Faith team member,
- a chance to reflect on your own and to discuss with others.
The course is suitable for leaders from any denomination or background and their spouses. Whether the role is paid or voluntary and whether it involves leadership of a whole congreation or community, youth, children, families, worship or any other area of ministry.

November:
Webinar with Faith in Later Life
Join us and Faith In Later Life, for a webinar aimed at church leaders and those who work with seniors, to hear from Becky Sedgewick on the concept of “Grandparenting for Faith”, covering the impactful role of grandparents and spiritual grandparents, with content from Becky’s book and a time of Q&A.

The Forge Gathering 2026
The Forge Gatherings from Parenting for Faith are online or residential retreats for local children’s, youth and families’ leaders (both paid and voluntary).
As well as sessions led by the Parenting for Faith team, there is time to worship and reflect. A key part of the Forge is learning from one another and sharing ideas and struggles, as well as having fun together. Our vision is that you will be encouraged and re-envisioned in your ministry!

The Qualification
The Certificate in Parenting for Faith course in association with Cliff College is available as an online course, which you can complete at your own pace.
Designed to stretch, inform and inspire those working in a professional or voluntary capacity with children, young people and families in churches, this course will equip you to successfully support parents and carers as they disciple their children and explore what parenting for faith might look like in your church and community.
