What is the Five Key Tools Journey?
The Five Key Tools Journey is a guided experience helping parents and carers discover five practical tools for helping children and teenagers naturally meet and know God in everyday life.
You can listen to the teaching through the Parenting for Faith podcast or sign up for the free Journey to receive videos, emails, live Q&As and extra support.

What are the “Five Key Tools”?
The Five Key Tools are practical, flexible tools that help children and young people connect with God in everyday life. They are designed to work in all kinds of families and situations — because one size doesn’t fit all.

Who are the Key Tools for?
The Key tools are designed for Christian parents and carers of all kinds — including parents, grandparents, foster carers, adoptive parents, godparents, and anyone helping children and teenagers grow in faith.

Why should I sign up if I can listen on the podcast?
The podcast shares the teaching.
The Journey helps you put it into practice.
When you sign up you’ll receive video sessions, practical encouragement, guided emails, discussion resources, live Q&As and stories from real parents to help you build confidence one step at a time.

Is the Journey really free?
Yes!
Individuals, couples, churches and groups can all sign up free until 31 December 2026.
After that it will become part of the normal BRF Online offering and can be accessed through a BRF online subscription or by renting the course.

Who is the Journey for?
Anyone helping children or teenagers grow in faith.
Parents, grandparents, foster carers, adoptive parents, godparents and carers are all welcome.
The tools work with every age and stage.

Does my church need to run it in a particular way?
Not at all.
Some churches will use the videos and discussion guides.
Others might meet for coffee after listening to the podcast.
Some may gather online or use WhatsApp.
The Journey is designed to be flexible enough to fit your context.

What do I receive when I sign up?
You’ll receive:

  • Full video teaching
  • Guided emails
  • Stories from parents trying the tools
  • Live Q&A session
  • Handouts with reminders of key points, next steps and things to think about or discuss

Do I need to watch everything live?
No – all teaching is available on demand.
The live Q&As are optional opportunities to ask questions and learn alongside others.
