Discipling kids who’ve had challenging life experiences

Many children and young people's lives aren't straightforward. Adverse childhood experiences, medical problems, family circumstances, trauma and more may affect how they see God.

For one of our ‘What if … ‘ series on the Parenting for Faith podcast, Anna chatted to Rae Morfin, Head of Therapeutic Practice at TLG, about how parents and carers, and churches, can help children and teens who’ve had challenging life experiences meet and know God.

In partnership with local churches, TLG’s Early Intervention programme provides struggling children with a safe space to explore and process the difficult challenges they are facing.
