Why connecting to God?

Parenting for Faith is the same throughout history and we, as leaders, enter into that process by encouraging parents to celebrate faith.
From the Israelites onwards, families and communities have tried to create faith environments that children can grow into and pick up as their own. In recent years, it feels like that process has been breaking down as communities have become more diverse and isolated and families have lost their strong ties with local, extended family. We, as church leaders, can begin to repair and strengthen what we have been losing to enable our communities to be places where children and teens can flourish in God-connection.
