Equipping grandparents

Grandparents are often very active in the lives of their grandchildren - and even if they're not involved on a daily basis, research shows that their impact when it comes to the faith of their grandchildren is huge.
So with many of these grandparents in our church communities, how can we as children’s, youth and family leaders wrap around them, encourage and equip them to fulfil such an important role?
In this Lunch with Leaders, Parenting for Faith’s Becky Sedgwick was joined by Katherine Bergin, Marriage and Family Life Adviser in the Catholic Diocese of Arundel and Brighton, to share some insights, learning and practical ideas for how churches can equip their grandparents to grandparent for faith.
